It was much more springlike this morning and with the fields starting to green up and the piles of snow nearly gone there is a good feeling that the harsh winter may be behind us.
The horses in training have been running consistently well all season and we are looking forward to a few bigger races next month as well as the summer team being unleashed.
The four year olds are at Arlary and getting ready for a racecourse gallop before they either continue to a bumper, or have time off to grow and absorb all that they have learned. Buddha Scheme, the new four year old has settled in and will start work tomorrow with maybe a bumper run later next month.
Tomorrow we have the promising novice Mighty Thunder heading to Haydock for a novice handicap hurdle. He has been improving over hurdles and we think that the better ground will suit him.
On our way back from Haydock we are delighted to have been invited to attend the Horse Scotland Awards evening at Airth Castle. Horse Scotland is a national organisation bringing together the different horse sports and activities. The awards are for businesses, coaches, and participants in the Scottish horse world, and there are a number of categories. See more about Horse Scotland HERE
